The ex London stuff I believe is hired in from Ensign, most running on FSW discs and legals. Not sure about the gold volvos

As I said the gold Tridents are from either Mistral or Dawson Rentals.

No. They're Alexander bodied Tridents that were new to Armchair. I don't know their previous owner, but they're fitted with seatbelts so presumably were school buses.
They were school buses with JH Coaches of Birtley, in gold, this time last year. In between Armchair (later Metroline) and JH, they were with TGM in Colchester/Harlow. Photos on Flickr.

Okay if you are on Facebook but what about those like me who choose not to.

You don't have to join Facebook to read the blog only if you want to post any comments but no worries if you choose not to use it I'll attempt to repost any useful information on this page. The Facebook page blog refers to previous blogs which have been found unsuitable. One is probably the recent 'On the Road' blog and another may in fact be when FSWOfficial used this forum.

The new Facebook blog is saying today 14 buses are in build, which I think is more than has been mentioned.

Yes, and next year is in seven weeks time.
Perhaps I'm conflating speculation with fact (almost certainly so) but were the routes in question the 22/50/51 (Solo SR) and something else? Don't know if the M6 was confirmed (which would be short, slimline SR) or the A17 (which would be most likely something like 10.8m e200).

I'm sure it's always been 14. What they are has yet to be confirmed, apart from being single decks.

Stated as being Optare Solo SRs (all Slimline versions). Split is eight longer ones for routes in the west (illustration shows an example in Lizard livery (three of the eight)) and six short ones for the east.

Trident 33165 (with rock hard seats) on service U1 from Truro this morning. Uni E400MMC 33473 broken down at the Devoran end of Carnon Downs. Solo 53803 parked at the roadside at the other end of Carnon Downs shut down with no driver present.

Uni E400 33422 at Tremough on a U4 service whilst at Falmouth Tridents 33112 & 33175 in Atlantic coaster colours on U4 services with E400MMC 33477 & 33479. E200MMC 44968 on 1240 service 35 to Helford Passage. E200MMC 44966 on the 1242 35A Falmouth to Helston.

Seems like the E200MMC's have migrated from services in Camborne to Falmouth.

So the M6 has to soldier on with its hopelessly unreliable fleet. Sadly, it's an effective way of killing a bus service.

The broken down E400MMC was recovered and towed away from Carnon Downs mid afternoon. Solo 53803 appeared later on a Truro college service as did Poppy Trident 33181, the latter on service 222.

6 for the 22/50/51, 3 for the Lizard. Leaves 5 more, which I believe is the PVR for the A17, and I’d heard a while ago there would be new buses for the A17.

If they are in build now they should be able to be there this year.

January was mentioned somewhere

Doesn’t the A17 use double decks at least in the summer?
Yes I know it might not in the winter, but I’m not sure they’d buy new small buses for winter only usage.
