More worrying passenger figure observations on key routes today, in weather that should have suited more movement than recently.

The U4 and A17 workings to Falmouth and St Ives respectively 13.40/45 ish from Penzance carried no passengers whatsoever, and the inbound U4 seen in Goldsithney shortly after 13.00 had three passengers at the front upstairs, and no others. I've seen 8s to Sancreed, however, with a few passengers, and A1 loadings vary tremendously according to the time of day and direction of travel. The full opentopper has been out every day this week, alternately on the A1 and A2.
Daytime U1s and T1s have also been nearly empty with only a handful of passengers, which in August isn't good at all

30565 and 30955 reported on South Yorkshire Forum as still in Doncaster but due for transfer to Kernow. Only about a 320 mile trip to Bodmin!

32014, 32069, 32070, 32075, 32076, 32083 and 32096 have all appeared on bustimes. Quite surprised to see that according to bustimes they have USB Charging points! Never known an ALX 400 to have charging points.

32069 etc were allocated to the U5/U6 to Bath Spa University and were refurbished (albeit in barbie moquette) and yes, they were fitted with wifi and USB charging.

Is this the limit of the yeovil fleet now or can it expect few more additions?
Hi Dorsetbus,
There are 12 vehicles on Yeovil depot's strength at the moment which comprise 7 Darts and 5 E200s. These are adequate for services run by the depot.

Nice to see that 42942 still retains the remnants of its route branding on the cove panels

If they went to that much trouble painting half of 42942 in what looks to be one of the blues from the Olympia livery, why not go the full distance and paint it all in the livery it’s supposed to be in?

Isn't it normally released by Kernow 2 weeks before the start date?

But sites like Plymothian Transit normally has details earlier

At the moment timescales are very tight, with operators across the country only announcing changes at the last minute.

DfT have only just confirmed that the ongoing funding is dependent on restoration of 100% pre-Covid mileage from September so that may require a few operators to go back to the drawing board.

Let alone trying to find vehicles of appropriate capacity for social distancing etc. There's a lot of midnight oil being burnt by operators

I see West of England 32003 PSU630 is now shown as taxed, previously SORNed and stored at Westbury. Is this one also bound for Kernow?

Anyone know anything about four B7RLEs heading down to Cornwall from Manchester? Might just be a dead rumor but 66901, 66903, 66909, and 66983 are the ones in question

33144 LR02LWZ at Newquay bus station today, not in service. Possibly in use as staff shuttle?
