Also seems to be a change to 16 in Bristol - its been cancelled and then reregistered.

Doesn't appear to be much change for Bristol services this April then. The most interesting change is the route change of the 72 FINALLY running via Lockleaze and Romney Avenue bus link(though I'll only believe this when I see buses actually running via this route!).

Says there are changes for 1 & 2, 50, 70 & 71, and 48, 48A, 49 & X48, and the UWE service. But it doesn't say whether these are timetable or route changes or whatever. Previously the VOSA website would state "change to route" or "change to timetable" or "change to route and timetable" or "cancellation accepted". I expect though these services will probably be just minor timetable changes.

They all our minor timetable changes. The only route we have to learn is the 70/71, no mention of any other changes.

Bath Chronicle website features an article on changes to local bus fares from April 2nd.
There is a fine shot of 42968 on the 4 and a rather strange backside view of 30870!

Hmmm... not very interesting atall the April changes to Bristol services then. Roll on about early July for news of the September changes, which hopefully should be nice interesting MAJOR changes and a nice brand new service or two to look forward to!

Given that Metrobus is on the horizon, it would be expected that September would get some major changes and, almost by definition, it limits what would happen now.

So Traveline has been updated with more of First's Bristol changes for 30/4.

At a glance:
1/2 - Each reduced to every 12 minutes off-peak
16 - Does appear to be withdrawn as suspected from VOSA
17 - Hillfields journeys rerouted via Staple Hill; Somerdale no longer served
47A - Withdrawn as already known
48A - Looks to be rerouted via Frenchay on the way *to* UWE.
82 - Extra evening journey from Southmead
Severn Express - rerouted to no longer serve Portskewett

48A/70/71/UWE - all have reduced frequencies presumably same as last summer due to less students.

N Somerset changes not online yet...

Always thought the 1/2 would see a decrease in frequency (drive them a lot and they don't need to be every 10 mins outside of rush hour). And i suspect that the 48a isnt rerouted via Frenchay and its just a mistake.

It just shows the 48A going the same route as it did when Stoke Lane was closed.
