Well, "Martin from Wakefield" didn't last too long did he?
Happy with the decision, anyone could see it wasn't working and when he threw a young team he'd selected under the bus on Tuesday night was the final straw for me.
The defeat tonight wasn't the issue, it was the complete failure to capitalise on an equaliser by going for the win. If we'd lost because we were caught on the break after an attack, I'd accept it. But we got back into the game and then sat back and let Fulham come at us which was only going to end one way. Fulham looked shaky in defence on the few occasions we ran at them, but we let them boss the game and lost with a whimper. Their winner was a damn good finish though.
The big question now is who will take over. Don't think Hughton would come, and don't want Sol Campbell because of both his political views and the fact that he'd bring a media circus with him.
