What is NSE?I’m assuming that it will be a special livery but it may not be. NSE has been suggested a lot so maybe NSE.

Looking at your profile picture you must be madStill hoping for HS4000 Kestral livery.
Stranger things have happened. Would you ever have thought you would see one in RTC livery?Looking at your profile picture you must be mad
Yeah good pointStranger things have happened. Would you ever have thought you would see one in RTC livery?
That's a real big shame...69012 was sent to Eastleigh for a repaint today. At least one of 69010/69012 will get a special livery. Last weeks supposed ‘69010’ move was a misunderstanding and the move was in fact 73128.

What a shame, 69010 has been painted in common Gbrf livery. I hope for something better with 69012
What is that green coach next to 010 - I’m guessing GWR Mk3?What a shame, 69010 has been painted in common Gbrf livery. I hope for something better with 69012
Certainly looks like a BT10 bogie and Mk3 body. What is that green coach next to 010 - I’m guessing GWR Mk3?

Looks to be one of Locomotive Services' mark 3s from their former Rail Charter Services HST set. What is that green coach next to 010 - I’m guessing GWR Mk3?
I'd imagine it a bit soon for 012 to be releasedI don’t want to make the same mistake as I did with 69010s exit path out of the paint shop but can it be confirmed that one of these paths will be 69012?

Some have to be in the regular livery for the "special" liveries to stand out. If everyone is special, no-one is special. That's a real big shame...
This quite obviously wasn’t 69012 now that I read a post on the class 69 facebook group, 69012 is currently in the Arlington fleet services repair shop for minor repairs and will soon head into the paint shop before leaving Eastleigh in early July.I don’t want to make the same mistake as I did with 69010s exit path out of the paint shop but can it be confirmed that one of these paths will be 69012?

I'm thinking of paying Leicester a visit tomorrow to see the 69s - does anyone know whether any are still there, and which ones they are please? It'd also be handy to know whether they're visible from passing trains or other public places - eg along Hutchinson St / Maidstone Rd.they are primarily used on unit drags but the only 69s at Leicester are 008,009 and 010 which are all part of the later batch
69006 was at the sidings between Beeston and Nottingham yesterday.I'm thinking of paying Leicester a visit tomorrow to see the 69s - does anyone know whether any are still there, and which ones they are please? Many thanks
The depot is mostly visible from the platforms actually. If you go over swain street bridge there is Hutchinson walk on your left that takes you right past the depot. The loco's are parked side on there so numbers may be blocked by the ones in front. I would recommend a run to Loughborough or even Derby to see the long siding at the end of the depot. I've heard that the back of the Mercedes garage on St. Georges way has a good view but you will have to see if it's public land as I've never been myself. The 69s most likely to be there if not working something like Worksop to Derby would be 69008 and 69011.I'm thinking of paying Leicester a visit tomorrow to see the 69s - does anyone know whether any are still there, and which ones they are please? Many thanks Trainman40083 - think I'm going to give it a go tomorrow. The 69s most likely to be there if not working something like Worksop to Derby would be 69008 and 69011.
The loco's in the "long" siding are: 60060, D5410, 58016, 58023 and if you see the green 37 that's D6836Many thanks Trainman40083 - think I'm going to give it a go tomorrow.
Thanks again. I do struggle to get my head round there being a 27 on Leicester depot. I'm aware that they were allocated there between 1961 and 1969, but they were all long gone before my first visit to Leicester depot in the mid-seventies. In my mind they're Scottish locos - having been there from before my interest in railways started, right up to their withdrawal in the mid / late eighties. The loco's in the "long" siding are: 60060, D5410, 58016, 58023 and if you see the green 37 that's D6836
