Getting an Oyster card next week

Ill have to buy an oyster this way next time im in london im assuming its set up and ready to use at machines where it is offered.

I do feel however its just another attempt to get fewer people to use ticket offices.
Of course it is; which is a good thing; but there are many more benefits too.

Easy way round that is to buy one at a booking office. In order to support the booking clerks' jobs, while I do use Oyster when there is a financial incentive, I do all my top ups at booking offices rather than online or at a machine.
