I've been thinking about making a model layout based on the Isle of Wight. I am looking for the following OO gauge trains:
1938 tube stocks in London Transport, Island Line Trains, NSE, or "Dinosaur" liveries and Standard tube stocks in NSE livery. And how much will it cost to get them motorised? I am looking for them in sets of 2 cars. In each 2 car set, 1 of 2 cars will be motorised. I was inspired to build the layout by Acton Depot. I saw lots of 1930's based tube layouts, a National Rail based layout (mostly Silverlink), and I bought a Plaxton Pointer Dart in Southern Vectis livery. And then I thought: 1930's tube stock + National Rail + Plaxton Pointer Dart + Southern Vectis = Isle of Wight Transport! Also wanted are some freight cars (coal trucks, car transporters etc.) and a Class 67.
