I know it's not my pic, but how do you do this...?

I can't explain why, when I looked at the picture I thought Scotland, followed by Greenock. The buildings in the background look Scottish to me, but why Greenock occurred to me straight away I don't know,as I have never been there :o. Feminine intuition?

For every picture where my initial thoughts are right (or nearly right) there are many more where I am completely wrong at first and have to put a lot of effort to get them (or not). I was nowhere near getting the Eccles photo posted not long since, as last time I was in Eccles the Bus Station was a horrible old dump somewhere else in the town.

There is far too much information about buses in my head, as I have been fascinated by them for 40 years.

Surprised myself with that one:

Try this one - an old shot, but not much has changed with the Bus Station (no Bristol LH coaches now, though).

None of the above, although one of those guesses has the right part of the country.

As this coach is preserved, it could have been somewhere outwith it's original operating area, but is seen here on it's home patch.

Fact: Annie has only ever had one incorrect answer on a round I have set. (Said round go on to be the [joint] second hardest the thread has ever known.)

Fact: madannie has far too much time on her hands, an unhealthy interest in buses and a head full of useless information

Try this one: I am running out of suitable shots, so this is taken from Google Streetview.

I have no idea (again). It's not Scottish, and it's not Corby (which may as well be Scottish, given its demographics). It has a Stagecoach presence.

Farnham (not sure they have any ALX400s around there though :?)

So it's not too far from Chippenham then?

Stroud?

I've got some new ammunition for this game by the way. I hope to try out one that I think even Annie will struggle with on my next turn.
