Looks like we could do with a clue: this station is served by two TOCS - one an "intercity" type operation the other a "commuter" type operation.

Thanks for providing the answer. I didn't consider Bedford as it does not meet the criteria in this clue, as it is served by 3 TOCs.
Oops - profuse apologies. I forgot about the LNW operated Marston Vale service.
Trust it didn't throw too many of you off the scent.

I likely would have said Bedford longer before. I had forgotten about the 3 TOC clue.
This shouldn’t be too difficult and yes it is a station on the list of NR stations
