That looks very much like a Metrolink tram; however assuming that it is National Rail I'm going to guess class 507.

May I ask where on the national network? As far as I'm aware Metrolink is an entirely separate system, with a few direct connections (that are unused) to the national network. They operate on parts of the national rail network so juding by the rules, count.

I think at the same time for future reference it would be useful to know whether London Underground and Tyne & Wear Metro qualify for this as stock from both networks are assigned TOPS numbers and operate over parts of the national network.Adjudication requested as to whether Manchester Metrolink trams qualify for this game
1972 stock; the line from Queens Park to Harrow & Wealdstone is owned by Network Rail.Just out of interest, what LU stock has TOPS numbers?

Basically any LU stock that shares track with London Overground.1972 stock; the line from Queens Park to Harrow & Wealdstone is owned by Network Rail.
IIRC parts of the district line might be as well.
Any LU stock operating over Network Rail track (Watford DC line and Gunnersbury - Richmond) is assigned the TOPS class 499, whilst Wimbledon - Putney and Harrow - Amersham is LU-owned track, that National Rail trains also operate over. Currently 1972 stock and S7 stock is assigned the class number 499, this designation also formerly applied to the D stock.I was unaware of the TOPS numbering system being used on LU stock, while I know that a section of the district into Wimbledon (see the derailment last year and who maintains what), Queens Park to Harrow and Wealdstone, Gunnersbury and Richmond and the Met north of Harrow

Correct.GC Mk3 then!

They're still TOPS registered. Though in future I will try not to use stock that is no longer in use with the operator pictured (I only did it this time as I'm running out of photos!)They're out of service?
