Is it possible to buy such a rover in advance? I am hoping to travel Winchester to Birmingham on a single train whilst only having bought the rover and a return Winchester -> Oxford.

I don't mind if it is telesales, internet or at the station.

You should certainly be able to buy these at a station. I used to sell quite a few at Reading!

Are you using an Off-Peak Return?

If you are using multiple Off-Peak Day Returns then splitting at Basingstoke saves a few quid.
