I think that the West Yorkshire day rover at £6.20 it cracking value considering you can get from Darton to Todmorden to Knottingley etc - is there a better value one in the UK?
PTE products will no doubt be the best value, unless someone suggests the ALR!?
IMO the Off-peak Day Travelcard is great value - at £5.60 Off-peak for Railcard holders this is much cheaper than many PTE products.

A Cumbria Day Ranger covers Preston / Skipton-Dumfries / Lockerbie / Haltwhistle, both via Shap and via Whitehaven. A very large area and many miles, but not with the comfort of a PTE price, like West Yorkshire is!
Indeed.

Southern All Network Downlander £12.50 for Milton Keynes Central to Ashford International and Southampton (on Southern only) most of South London Surrey and Sussex plus Buses in the Brighton-Eastbourne and Uckfield areas.
My choice would be the London 1-6 travelcard.
Given it covers an area of around 600 square miles, including pretty much all public trasport options within that area, (bus, tram, rail & underground), its fantastic value for money.![]()
Even better for me as I can get a half fare one. Looks like the price has gone up steeply though. It was £5.70 or £2.85 before the fare rise! Still good value however.

The Valleys Lines Day Rover is also excellent value.
£10 gets you on all Valley Lines trains (plus a few others) operated by Arriva Trains Wales after 9.15am. It also gets you access to all of Stagecoach in South Wales services, the main operater in the Valleys.
The Derbyshire Wayfarer isn't too bad at £10.50 - by train you can travel New Mills Central-Sheffield-Langley Mill/Derby-Burton/Uttoxeter/Long Eaton/Matlock on it.
