I've just returned from a trip to Bonn

Thanks. I Love the Drachenfels Cog Railway. I believe one of only two surviving in Germany.

Germany is full of interesting things! I visited Bonn earlier this year, including the Drachenfels Railway - some great rolling stock from the 1950s - coped well with the standing load when I was there.

Agree with the above. The Vulkan railway is not far from there and a good line too.
