I think its outrageous after years of weekend closures, there is still more planned closures I am afraid.
I wonder if the Tube Upgrade Plan will end up being a 'Forth Bridge Job'!
I think the closure is due to some works in the Neasden depot points. I think its outragous after years of weekend closures, there is still more planned closures I am afriad.
I suspect that even if it is not admitted as such now, it will end up being like the Forth Bridge.
Not really thats what you get after years of deprivation of actual upgrades.
It's not like they're not warned closures are planned way in advance with people knowing at least 6 months in advance
And thirdly, there has been no clarity from TfL on what the hell is going on with the Jubilee Line and when the closures will end. Customers need to understand why it's important, what work is being done and how long we'll have to suffer for vague posters about the upgrade programme aren't good enough. We were told 2 years ago that the Jubilee Line closures had finished. Remember this? http://www.tfl.gov.uk/static/corporate/media/newscentre/archive/19856.html
'We know this upgrade has often been difficult and I'd like to thank Londoners and Jubilee line customers for their patience as we approach this final milestone.
'I'm also determined that this heralds the end of the 'PPP-era' upgrades, and that we will work together to deliver far fewer closures and much less disruption in future.'
Have you got any info to back this up?
The Metropolitan line's engineering works this weekend have been cancelled, owing to industrial action by engineering train drivers. A special timetable has been sent out with 4 trains running from Uxbridge to Harrow-on-the-Hill.
