Hi all,

Does much coal still run through the station? Went once years ago and saw loads in a couple of hours, 56s, 59's, 66's . Imagine its all 66 hauled nowadays but thinking of calling by on my way hone from work. Would it start to wind down for the weekend by 4pm or still a bit about? Anything non-66 regularly booked?

Still a very busy area for coal traffic, although quite a lot
(around 40%) runs on the East curve, so avoids the station.

Friday teatime should not be any quieter than any other weekday.

He talks about staffing levels to the Depot, but where are they now?
This intevriew would be in the early 1990's
