The Stillington line from Norton (Stockton) - Ferryhill sees very little traffic. A check on RTT shows that in the last 7 days, it has seen 5 northbound and 6 southbound services. At the Norton end, the curve from Norton East to Norton West is hardly used at all, though this may change as the recent resignalling in the area means that Norton East box no longer has to be opened specially for trains to use it - it's all now controlled from York.

The line from Burton Leicester Junction to Bardon Hill, think at the moment only the Tinsley - Bardon Hill uses it, unless it goes via Leicester. The section between Bardon Hill and Knighton see's a bit more action.

How much traffic does the Fawley branch line get now. Is it just the MOD to Marchwood. Is there anything beyond Marchwood apart from the odd railtour

I noticed this. Dalmeny being adjacent to the Forth Bridge. I don’t even think any service from Edinburgh to Dalmeny was running at the height of the pandemic.
There have been core services running through Dalmeny throughout, both the local stopping 'Fife circle' and the longer distance Aberdeen/Inverness services. There is nothing running on the Glasgow bound route with the once a day return already planned to be axed prior to lockdown

The line from Saltburn to Boulby mine (what remains of the former coastal route to Whitby) carries freight “as required” but there has been local talk of a reinstatement of passenger services. (Pie in the sky is my feeling in the present climate)
Here's the schedule for today. About 12 trains through Cragg Hall.

The (now) freight only line from King's Lynn Junction to Middleton Towers (formerly the route to Dereham) may be a contender. Plenty of paths show on Realtime Trains, but they're rarely activated.
The early bird catches the worm

If freight is to be included down my way the APL line that runs into the Nuclear Power Station is very quiet, I worked the whole line for weeks and didn't see a single train, although the signaller did say they have a nuclear flask train every now and again. Its still signalled, covered by 1 solitary signal AD896 and its repeater.
