I was recently searching on RealTime Trains for interesting trains passing through Hartford tomorrow. I encountered a West Coast Railways Light Loco from Carnforth Steamtown to Burton Wetmore Sidings. RTT says it is a diesel Loco, but does anyone know what loco will be running on this (screenshot attached)?
Edit: it calls at the Crewe Coal Shed, so it probably won't be a diesel, unless the 47s were on Santa's naughty list...

It probably won’t be known until tomorrow or very late tonight what locos it will be. I say locos as I suspect it’ll be two, as it looks to take stock from Burton to Acton Sidings, which will then be used for the Liverpool Street to Peterborough services on Saturday and Sunday. I imagine it’ll be top and tailed for convenience for the reversal at Peterborough, plus for redundancy.

So are these 47s the 75mph type then? Wikipedia offers no help in which subclasses have which speed...
The schedules do not always reflect the capabilities of the stock allocated, especially in Short Term Plans.

47813/815 allocated to to 0Z59, and then both allocated to 5Z59 from Burton to Acton Lane

Looking at RTT the locos work from Carnforth to Burton, then to Willesden, then Liverpool Street so that they can work trains between London and Peterborough.

Seems awfully overcomplicated to me.

If the locomotives are based at Carnforth, the coaches at Burton, and the train needs to run from Liverpool Street tomorrow morning, I am not sure how you can make it less complicated. There aren't a lot of alternative options.

5z59 runs past Willesden to Acton reception sidings for the night. Then to Liverpool Street tomorrow morning.

Light locos are only permitted to travel at 75mph. West Coasts fleet can do 95mph if not running light
