Can anyone give me further examples of individual locos of different classes known to have been fitted with vacuum EQ brakes.

So far my list is

24: 24081
25: ?
27: ?
31: ?

Here the Railway Correspondence and Travel Society (RCTS) is your source.

Their "Locomotive Stock of British Railways 1977" and "1983 Locomotive Stock Book" both give details of locos with EQ brake. However, these are not a useful source for all locos ever fitted with EQ brake because withdrawn locos, and locos subsequently fitted with dual auto air brake, are not shown.

To give an example of a now preserved loco for each class add 20110, 25035, 27001, 31271 and 37109 to your table.

I think 24081 still has functioning EQ brake, possibly unique in preservation?
