Hi Everyone
A friend of mine turned 60 last year, so we organised the 60+ bus Oyster pass for him.
He does not have any technology, except an old style non smart mobile phone. He does not have any credit or debit cards.
However I was able to use one of my email addresses to register him, with his full details. Print a sheet out, that he took with £20 cash to the PO along with his rent book, and he got the card.
Now it is renewal time (every year, really??) ... I got an email for him, and it says he needs further proof of address, along with a credit/debit card to pay £10.
It doesn't mention this time being able to do this at the PO. Does anyone know how to get around this?
Please see section 6 on pages 3/4 of the attached document:
Thanks

6. The £10 fee must be paid online using a debit or credit card that is in your name. The billing address for
your payment card must match your current address.
Thanks
