London Euston to Blackpool North

I read that LNER are going to be running trains from Euston to Blackpool North from 16 th September 2019. Will they run alongside the Virgin Trains? Or have Virgin lost the Franchise?

Its Great Northwestern Railway (GNWR) who will run these services.

They will be additional Trains to Virgin's services, I think Virgin still have the West Coast franchise until March 2020.
