Hi,

Is an any permitted off peak return ticket valid from Kings Cross to Needham Marlket via Cambridge, because I don't want to travel by rail replacement bus on the Liverpool St service.

Nope.

I guess you would need something like an over-distance excess to Elmswell and a single from there to Needham Market.

Presumably you could buy the off peak return KGX to Elmswell and an anytime return from there to Needham Market.

Or maybe a call to AGA customer service to see whether they have any special arrangement in place to allow the London to Needham Market ticket to be used on that route given the lack of trains between London and Ipswich.
