They’ve started on August offers so maybe just haven’t updated it yet!
Yeah those figures are those who are starting training within that month, I'm sure those August offers would be starting their training in July

Having read through posts from last year (2024) someone who got their job offer on 31st May '24 started their training in October 2024. The campaign adverts were from April - August 2024. So a fair few of the earlier applications would have started training well before Christmas. Do you have those figures to add in?
"The number of applicants who have received a job offer for CSA2 for the most recent campaign (045768). And the number of those who are still waiting to start vs the number of those who have already started.

469 applicants received a job offer, 140 have started so far. There are 298 waiting to start (31 applicants withdrawn or offer rescinded)."

If you total those who have started this year (excluding May) There's a difference of 12, so only 12 people actually started training last year I'm assuming.

Any updates anyone?
I spoke to the recruitment team last week. I was told they have a few training dates left to fill in July and August, and these were for the early August offers (CSA2s).

I got my offer 21st August 24.

The team said there may be some more training dates come up for late August, but should be no later than September now for anyone with an offer from August 24.

I got my offer on the same day as you, so we might be on the same training. Hopefully we get something in August

Great news, hopefully I should be getting a call in a few weeks. I'm September 4th so hopefully not too long after the August lot.

Hopefully I can quit my awful job in a couple of months and join TFL soon.

Has there been a salary increase since we applied for the role last year ?
if so does it apply to csa2 part time/night staff?

I read somewhere 'Salary increase from last year 3.8% plus those under £40k are getting an extra £1470 to boost their salary'

I heard there’s an increase however on the email I received the other day it said £33300 for csa2 full time. So I’m not sure if the increase has taken effect

Not sure when you all applied, but current salaries (at 1st April 2024) are:

CSA1 £44,140
(Overtime rate is £30.2191 per hour)

CSA2 £35,270
(Overtime rate is £24.1465 per hour)

Trainee rate is 80% of full time.

The 2025 pay claim is already in and I believe the 1st meeting is arranged for end of this month - with any pay award being backdated to April 2025.

I'll most likely be in the same training group as you, keep in contact

Did they give you a date for the drugs and alcohol test immediately? Presuming you did the medical earlier and it's only valid for 6 months.I am away on for a while and was hoping I don't miss their call for the medical date

When I started I got a medical test before I was given a start date. It will be the onboarding team who will give you a call, so if you miss a call or 2 they will most likely email you, as they emailed me when I missed a call from them. Good luck with your training.

I’m still extremely frustrated with my boring and poor life right now for not having a job at the age of 24 and as I said before, I failed to get this vacancy last year which is what I wanted more than anything else as I really love and enjoy talking and meeting new people and I’m now trying to do this every time I go out on public transport. But I find it difficult as there are usually grumpy looking workers that I see around who I’m afraid to talk to, unless they are too busy or not in the mood to speak with me.

Everyday is a fresh page to try again
You can take all the learning from the first application and and apply it to future opportunities.
The job market has become very competitive so it's important to highlight your unique qualities and value you bring to an organisation. It's all about learning and trying again.
Good luck

Don’t be discouraged. I first applied when I was 20 and I failed at the role play stage. I then tried again the following year and now I began a wonderful career with TFL beginning of this year.

Don’t be disheartened. Many people begin their journeys at different times and paces. If you have your mind set or something, for sure it will be bound to happen.

You can private message me if you have any questions about working on the underground etc.
