I could have sworn I passed 443 being towed when I passed Saughton Park tonight, might have caught the wrong number. Was still in Lothian City colours.

You likely did, that's why i said allegedly as i'm yet to see any proof of it actually in LC colours, it was just reported elsewhere.

841-843 are in LC colours, unsure if crossed wires on 443 and its 843 they mean?

I thought it was 455 getting towed, I saw it broken down earlier!
443 is on the X18 right now.

i seen it the other day still in city colours, Who said its in LC colours

Saw on the bustimes.org/vehicles page that it's logo had change to LCB - thought it must be erroneous!

They were in Xelabus livery, knew I recognised the it but couldn't quite figure it out - only had a fleeting glance as I was driving north back home at the time.

Photo taken from twitter showing 811 with Xelabus in new livery, presume this was the other bus I saw in convoy with 814.

...and thats the training fleet up for sale. The Purge continues.

Guessing there's no immediate plans to replace them given the current climate? I doubt there'll be any shortage of qualified drivers should the need to recruit again arise in the near/medium future.

Are there any left in the range 826 to 899 with roller blinds and front numbers in the original place ?

Looks like at lest 12 deckers have gone to Stagecoach Newcastle for duplicate work. Looks like a load of ECB deckers with their destination equipment painted out.

Source Facebook.

Would a company intentionally put themselves into a position where they couldnt offer a service?

Logically? No
Lothianally? Potentially

Why on earth would Lothian get rid of vehicles if they weren't going to have enough to operate their own services? What a stupid question.
Ok chill
I think what they meant is that maybe those buses will be needed in the future for more Covid extras?

Looks like that poster a few pages back suggesting that Lothian would sell Stagecoach vehicles to 'help out' on services was right! Just not in the way originally suggested, that's me shocked!

A number of reasons, The revised network might be lower than we expected compared to Pre-covid, Lothian plans to get them back with a few months to boost its service back up once Stagecoach are finished with them? Lothian is getting new stock in, but it could be that its planning on converting more routes single deckers operation. Lothian are planning to swap west lothian operations around thus all deckers are moved back to the city ?

Your post implied to me that you were questioning whether Lothian would have enough buses to operate the current service level. Apologies if I misunderstood, but please clarify what you say in future to avoid misunderstandings like this in future.
