Cringe....well someone had to do it !!!

Where are we all off to and anyone going to an exotic location ?

I'm flying down to Birmingham with my Daughter tomorrow - does that count ?

Back up on the 27th.

Whatever you are doing wherever and with whom have a great time - forget about Brexit and get bladdered and bloated.

I'll be working for much of the festive season, the joys of working in retail...

I'll still manage to find time to do what I most like to do at Christmas--spend valuable time with my family. That's what's most important to me at this time of year.

I wish everyone here a very happy Christmas! And let's hope next year is a bit more cheerful! :)

Wishing all a tremendously Merry Christmas and a joyful dawn to a new decade. Here's hoping that the year of 2020 will be better than its predecessor!

In an attempt to continue the chain of beautiful, festive snowy scenes demonstrated above, here's a photo from a few years back:

(Sorry that I'm unable to offer anything railway-related here!)

Have a great Christmas! :D

Happy Christmas all.

Are Aylesbury and Bickley sufficiently exotic from Up North? :)

Christmas is traditionally a time for arguments so let's kick things off with:

The next decade begins on Jan 1 2021.
Oh I see.
Light the blue touch paper and retreat to a safe distance eh Dale..?

Haha, we all have our opinions. But with trying not to go off-topic too much, Wikipedia says the following. ;)
The 2020s (pronounced "twenty-twenties" or "two thousand (and) twenties", shortened to "the '20s") is the upcoming decade in the Gregorian calendar that will begin on 1 January 2020, and will end on 31 December 2029.

Happy Christmas everyone. I don't post that much but I enjoy reading the forum. I'm off out in about an hour to ring for the midnight mass. If we get a few well struck touches of Plain Bob Minor I'll be happy. If you were to stand on Cocker Bar bridge, west of Midge Hall on the Ormskirk line, you should hear the bells of Leyland St James,Croston and Tarleton all ringing after 11pm and saying "Gloria in excelsis Deo and peace to his people on Earth "

Seeing as everyone else is posting Railway photos. Does give a small contrast a Christmas over here compaired to the snow and cold.
