I believe 507001 has ran ECS this morning to Southport to be stabled.
I also think 507011 may have also moved ECS over to New Brighton to be stabled - could anyone confirm if 507011 is now at New Brighton?
False alarm, the ECS run this morning from Southport to New Brighton was 507003 not 507011. It left from the same siding at Southport that 507011 is stabled in which led me to think it may have been 507011.

Train was cancelled on the 11:19 to Southport, anybody know what the issue was and what unit subbed it?

The service cancelled was the 11.21 Hunts X - Southport and 507033 is the offender. What an awful riding unit it is as well I'm afraid, sounding fit to drop.

507028 is in charge of the subsequent service, the 11.51 and it is superb. Rheostatic in full voice, no squeaks and smooth riding. Apocalypically overcrowded, though!

You may have seen me at Brunswick but brilliant that 028s rheostatics are back on, I’ve heard plans of fixing 016s but I’m guessing they’re not true?

I doubt they will bother with only a couple of months left, although 001's was surprisingly fixed in coach 64367 recently. 016 is also a notably troublesome set amongst the remaining 507s unfortunately.

028's rheostatic was never broken as such, just manually turned off by the driver the last few times I've ridden it.

507017 has replaced the errant 033, starting with the 12.27 from Southport. With 033 one of the next ones to go, if it has a major fault, it will be done.

Well, 37884 has just passed through Bidston but minus any 507s! Looks like 014 and 021 live on a little longer.

Two 507s in service on the Wirral Line today: 507007 is off to work the Chester line from West Kirby as 5B00 at present and should form the 07.22 Chester - Liverpool Central service. Also, 507003 is heading from New Brighton to West Kirby to start with the 07.51 circuit from there.

Also, last night saw 507023 and 033 form the 23.38 Liverpool Central - Southport service, a rare six-car on this particular working. There were problems too, as it was late off Kirkdale and left Central 15 minutes down. I'm not sure if 033's earlier fault recurred and perhaps it is now a no-split unit for its last few days of service.

With several reports yesterday was the final day of booked three-car 507s, the last working honours went to 507001 on the 23.18 Southport - Liverpool Central (00.02 arrival) and 507029 with the 23.06 Hunts Cross - Southport (00.09 arrival). Of course, those are just booked workings as there are two three-cars on the Wirral Line today. Very likely also the last day any line is worked exclusively by the old guard.

My friend wants to know if 507018 has been repaired yet, and what the problem was with it when it went for maintenance

The Northern Line 507s this evening are 001 + 015, 028 + 029 (brilliant pairing) and 023 + 033, forming the 18.51, 19.06 and 19.21 Hunts Cross - Southport services respectively.

Both 507003 and 507007 remain on the same Wirral Line routes today. 007 is charged with the 17.12 Ellesmere Port circuit at present, whilst 003 is forming 17.21 from West Kirby. 007 is a fantastic set as well; I recommend a ride if you're able.

The same three pairs as yesterday are out on the Southport line.
