The inside of the Shed extension now has a Mezzanine office it would seem, but no track yet.DSCF6676.JPG

Still no track in the shed extension but the original 2 line shed is now a very nice museum area with the Brush saddle tank, the 6 wheeler coach, a couple of 5 plank wagons and the MR brake van.
The narrow gauge track now is much longer, with a complete loop to the left DSCF7248s.jpg DSCF7253s.jpg side of the shed, linked around the back of the shed, to the original section, which is no longer a triangle.

Presumably the saddle tank is ex GWR 921. If it is, very good news that its not immured and inaccessible at Snibston. Still haven't seen it - I have very little left to underline...
Has the issue about running through to the terminus been resolved?

The signalling system at Swithland has been upgraded to allow trains to run up the branch. Usually passengers can board the DMU at Quorn, run to Swithland and go back up the Branch. Down back to Swithland and onto Rothley (brook). Then back down the main line to Quorn and switch back onto the Southbound line...Very nice and great views of the line.

Thank you for the reply, but I was trying to be diplomatic about the clearance issues with the overbridge bridge to the East of Nunckley Hill, which someone on the GC told me about the other weekend.

I know that it is a very tight clearance through that bridge and that the train TTI /guards are very aware of stopping any "window hanging". I don't know if the situation has been highlighted by the ORR in the light of that death last year on the "Big" railway??
I suppose if that is the case, they could just stop at Nunkley Hill and not go through the bridge?
