Took me a few goes 2 make sure i wasnt imaging things!

I assume it's just a bid to remove the word "Rail" from the name.

I think the nationalisation of RPCs is a way of creating an organisation more likely to do what the government wants. If the government wasnt to close Middlesborough-Whitby, for instance, a north-east organisation is less likely to be swayed by spurious claims of the national interest than an organisation trying to represent passengers all over the network.
