Given that the London Midland Franchise is due to expire within 2 years I wonder if the next West Midlands Franchise invitation to Tender will specify those 3 stations. Norton Bridge won't ever reopen although the other 2 may have done at one point but won't now given the state of their platforms. Given that Central Trains quickly applied to close Etruria after the 2003 upgrade I wonder why they never did the same of these 3.
Its a bit of a joke now that the DfT still call the bus service a rail replacement bus as its now more of a rail enhancement bus.
