Just heard a Professor on TV saying Mutt Hancock's Project Fear

I have yet to hear from any scientist that this is of any concern. Just like the minor reactions to the vaccine, and the Danish mink variation, it's something of little consequence that the print media and the intellectually challenged in government have latched on to.

For once we might not be doing ourselves a disservice to listen to listen to one of the "experts" quoted in the BBC article linked to in the OP.

Prof Alan McNally, an expert at the University of Birmingham, told the BBC: "Let's not be hysterical. It doesn't mean it's more transmissible or more infectious or dangerous."
