I had very little warning of this event (6hrs or so), I had to rush around buying tripods and such, but then my dad said we couldn't do any photting because we wold be stewarding the event, so we had to stand in the car park-freezing-whilst identifying everyone for the shoot and so on and so forth.....

Despite the bitterly cold weather, a good night was had by all and hopefully this isn't the first and last!

RAF Merlin from No. 78 Sqn gets the rotors turning prior to departure

Long exposure of the Merlin taxying for departure(I almost got blown over from the downdraft!)

US Army Cessna Citation from Wiesbaden, Germany was one of the visitors

Local resident BAe 125 CC.3 from No.32(The Royal)Sqn

Another visitor was this Irish Air Corps Learjet

Practice de-ice on the BAe 125

Enjoy
