Actually nobodies "bought" it. Not heard anything yet. The Ex-East Mids ones are worse than the Anglia ones (only marginally) 409/416/417 have been tidied up whilst at Wolverton and are a lot nicer, but lack power points etc that the home fleet have.Anything regarding the ex-Anglia and EMR 156s? One of them was diagrammed on the Hope Valley today and the seats were hard, threadbare and filthy. The carpets were crystalline black and filthy as well. They are easily the worst trains running on the UK network at the moment, besides some of the 153s.
