The TOC that I currently work for will be shortly advertising for a Trainee Conductor role. Just wondered what opinions people have on the potential move. Currently work booking office roles but I'm slowing boring to death sat behind glass.

Opinions please!

One of the best jobs on the railway, so I'd say go for it! I came to the job from a station background, though I was a despatcher rather than booking office, and I've never looked back.

So long as you're not at a company that's looking to do away with its conductors that is.....
