P.A system at Mossley Hill - new?

Hi all

I noticed on Tuesday there is now automatic train announcements at Mossley Hill station and again today I heard the same. Has the equipment only just been put in place so this can happen? I've used MSH over 150 times and I've never heard them before, I always found it unusual the stark lack of info either there or West Allerton which are two busy suburban stations. And are announcements now being made at any other stations?

Its been a long time coming, MSH is a 4 platform station and I've always relied on NRE for train info!!

Yeah, the one used at Manchester Picc and Lime St. As I said, its about time MSH got it, with nearly 300,000 passengers a year!
