Fair comment Stevieboy1 This is the type of thing I miss seeing being middle aged, and being pretty much "Career Accomplished" I would say that ti is not out of the realms of possibility for an organisation like the HRA to create some sort of Railcard scheme for the likes of young and willing volunteers to assist with Heritage projects with funding from something like the National Lottery. If done correctly no doubt volunteer numbers would increase giving youngsters the chance to gain skills that are getting increasingly harder to get with ongoing de-industrialization of the UK. (Steelworks, Pits, and Power Station closures.)
