In Belfast - 137.9 for diesel & 138.9 for unleaded.
First time in a while I've seen diesel less than unleaded.

Absolutely. And like water companies we have little choice.
Diesel has been cheaper at wholesale (as it comes out of the refinery) since about mid/late March.

Latest (last night) from the Shell garage on Crewe Road North in Edinburgh that I have posted all my prices on but now only pass on occasion
Unleaded: 1.51.9
Diesel: 1.57.9

The best prices I have seen have dropped for E10 unleaded to 141.7p/litre and diesel to 142.7p/litre. Last Saturday for E10 unleaded the big Tesco sign was 142.9p/litre but pump was 141.9p/litre.
For E10 unleaded Esso near work is 143.9p/litre which is 2.2p/litre more than Morrisons a few hundred metres away while BP on bypass less than a mile away is still 147.9p/litre. BP near home still 151.9p/litre so 10p/litre more than Tesco a mile away.

Still 141.9p per litre for E10 petrol at my local Asda in the South of Manchester area.

It's (the price of fuel) definitely falling again, but at a glacial pace.

138.9 for petrol at a BP place in Abergavenny on 15 June. 139.7 at Morrison's in Basingstoke on 24 June.
Always interesting to compare to history.
20 years ago, petrol prices were 80.4p / litre (source, RAC foundation records). Allowing for RPI, that would now be £1.66/ litre.
10 years ago, petrol prices were 131.1p/ litre. (same source). Allowing for RPI, that would now be £1.98/ litre.
Is it reasonable to say that fuel prcies are now cheap? I think so.

I do agree, apart from the sharp rises in 2022, fuel prices have remained somewhat stable for the last 10 years.
I'm paying £1.42 Per litre at the moment and my car gets around 45-50 mpg, so my 10 mile commute to work costs around £1.50 each way door to door, I really can't complain about that.
As long as everyone has had their pay go up by the same amount, or else they'll still be worse off now.
It would seem that someone on £25000 in Jan 2004 should now be on £53234 today. (based on RPI data from ONS).
I very much doubt they've had anywhere near that much, so fuel is now going to be a bigger percentage of their outgoings.
I don't think RPI is a reasonable measure of inflation to use for this though?

If that's the one on the left on the way out towards the hospital, it's usually the cheapest in the area.
It's a regular stop for me on journeys to or from west Wales via the A40, though sometimes the queue for the forecourt is too long for me to join.

139.9 for petrol in Andover Tesco yesterday (145.9 for diesel) when I filled up mum's car after visiting the dump.
137.9 for petrol this evening in a Murco in Bulford (little village near to Amesbury). Pretty sure diesel was around 143.9

Yes, that's the place. We'd travelled from Whitchurch (Hampshire) to visit my wife's sister in Crickhowell, and saw this as were coming out of Abergavenny, so we called in to fill up on the way back.

€1.72/l E10 in Britanny (France), but the usual price around seems to be more €1.78/1.79

Prices seem to be creeping up again, but literally only that. Petrol was 139.9 at my local Sainsbury's last week, but back up to 140.9 yesterday.

Was $2.74 last night and i filled up[ with just over 15 US Gallons. Today at same garage it is $3.14 - a jump of 40 cents overnight. North West GA
