Hi There,

I am new to the forum and hoping to apply as a trainee train driver when any new vacancies come up.

I am a train manager at the moment and have been speaking to a couple of drivers I work with. They suggested perhaps paying to do the psychometric testing myself and going from there. Anyone have an idea of where you can do this?

He's a train manager wanting to become a driver. I personally wouldn't recommend paying anything for the tests as a Toc will put you through them for nowt. Maybe if your in the same position 2 years from now it would be worth considering then. See how it goes first. As a TM you should look very attractive on paper.
All you need to help through the process is on this forum....
Good luck ??????
