I've recently done Pts and track induction course and have a primary sponsor. I'm a blue hat and waiting for my first shift off them. I've been waiting 2 weeks so far. How long does it normally take to get your first shift? Also been thinking into going with another company if they don't hand me a shift, cheers.

The other company would have to agree to become your primary sponsor so that would delay them employing you

Phone them up and ask! If you want a shift you need to be pestering them.

The sponsorship systems means you can't just jack and move to another sponsor overnight. It can take a week, given you should be having a pre-sponsorship medical before any new sponsor sponsors you.
