Is it possible to get a railcard discount on the Tube with contactless?
No. If you have a National Railcard which qualifies for discounted tube travel, you need an Oyster card. It's necessary to have the discount set on the Oyster card by a member of staff at a tube station (or TfL travel centre) prior to starting discounted travel. Is it possible to get a railcard discount on the Tube with contactless?

Not quite. An appropriate National Railcard discount attached to an Oyster card will also reduce the Off-Peak daily cap. The best explanation I've read of this complicated subject is from MikeWh's site:And just to let you know the railcard will not decrease the daily or weekly cap by 33% - it will only lower the single fares alone. This of course means it will take longer to get to your cap but it won't directly affect the cap.
But there's an exception to that exception! The railcard "exception" to the above list of exceptions and byzantine rules is that a Disabled Person's Railcard does discount peak fares and caps, but, unlike on national rail where a companion can travel at the same rate, the discount is given only to the card holder him/herself.
Discounts on Oyster pay as you go in London
Oyster pay as you go discounts are for the Disabled Persons Railcard holder only.
As a special concession, a Disabled Persons Railcard holder travelling on Oyster pay as you go can get 1/3 off an Off-Peak Day Travelcard Zones 1-6 (including stations in London Zones 7-9 if required) for one adult travelling with them.
