I cannot access the York station web cam - This live stream recording is not available. Does anyone know if it has it gone for good or just temporarily down?
If it’s Brocken then how will they know? The Brocken cam in the Harz , Germany will be appreciated by lovers of snow.
Plenty of snow at Finse on the Bergen railway. The Brocken cam in the Harz , Germany will be appreciated by lovers of snow.
Thank you for sharing this.www.RailServe.com Directory Loads on here...WorldWide
That could explain why it's been taken down so quickly.Im very pleased to see Railcam has camera at Glenfinnan. I support Railcam and believe in the project as they know.
The Glenfinnan viaduct features in Harry Potter films and carries the Jacobite train Fort Willam to Mallaig
First thing that occurred to me , was if its so good, why has not anyone else had a cam there ?
Then I investigate and find most of that area is in fact privately owned by the Leith family.

So I assume anyone putting a camera there needs permission or might have to pay access rights ?
I would be grateful of any info .
My rail info email is [email protected]. or post here , thanks.
Yes I have emailed the owners as per 'contact us' .
So who took it down , have you any more info please ? Its just that Railcam are not saying a lot, considering us supporters paid for it . Sometimes they that us with contempt, do not say a lot. That could explain why it's been taken down so quickly.
For those of you who would like to brush up on your French before the holidays I would highly recommend the new "Railcam Lyon" situated just north of Lyon Perrache station. (English widely understood ... lol)

By the way, I see Bluebell Railway in Sussex now has its own webcams, will post link later.

Im not complaining thats its gone, sorry if I gave that impression .I just want to make sure it was there legally as its on private land xIndeed, a very good cam it is too.
Hold on a minute. You posted a couple of weeks ago about the Glenfinnan camera, did some research and seem to have contacted the Glenfinnan Estate yourself asking about whether permission is required. It's not inconceivable that this has actually made them aware the camera was there and it's now been removed, but now you are complaining it's gone?
Can't count - actually 3 camera at East Grinstead.

Some of the links not working. Page not found.
This is quite an "Old" thread and it may be that previous links have been replaced by newer ones since any were last posted and no one has come along to update them! Many cameras form part of the Railcam network - see https://railcam.uk/ for the latest information, camera location map etc.. Some cameras linked from the RailCam are free to view and some are 'subscriber-only'.Been playing with them all around England. all seem to be off
