On occasion, allocations can be put in before midnight, particularly common with XC
TfW are usually very early but the early allocations are frequently wrong, coupling trains that can't, sending non-158s down the Cambrian, etc, they're usually corrected overnight as the rest of the allocations come in.

Tom please can you fix the 33mph on vstp trains (km-mph) seeing the comments on FB posts about it is triggering some sort of OCD inside me knowing it's not 33

Has anyone else found that the time zones on Railmiles are now completely scrambled? They used to be, I think, alphabetical but now they're just a mess. Real pain to use but I'm not sure if it's just me!
I've either just hit lucky this morning or they are now in a better order, if they are in a better order that's much appreciated.

Out of interest any reason why are the allocations wrong on Chiltern Railways this evening? I'm on the 1830 Marylebone-Aylesbury Vale Parkway on 165039 but it's showing as 168110 . The inbound from Oxford was wrong too and I saw that the 1759 AVP apparently ran with 8 coaches which is not possible.

Saved my bacon this morning as the 0839 AVP-MYB was only showing a unit allocated from Aylesbury way before anything showed it was cancelled AVP-AYS so I had time to catch up with it in the car

Presumably wrongly inputted at source (ie Chiltern).

Presumably Chiltern knew which unit was going where (though never say never :D) - do they manually input this into another system that feeds to RTT ? Just curious as it is usually spot on!

RTT gets it straight from the source, these things happen, stuff gets swapped and systems get updated retrospectively.

It seems to be that whenever one was changed, the old ones weren't taken off, resulting in multiple 7/8 cars showing and duplicates

This is quite common with set swaps. I assume it's to do with how the data feed overwrites the information.
It will be showing correctly in the systems it actually needs to be.

Yes, when I checked later it was showing both units https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:C15719/2024-09-30/detailed

hopefully not going to be common place going forward (certainly hasn't been something that has been an ongoing issue, Chiltern are very nimble with set swaps in disruption and usually it's spot on, including yesterday morning!)

When I try to filter for Hanson & Hall trains (operator code YG) it comes up with an error message as follows:

You have requested to filter the services by TOC, but...
...the code you have chosen is not valid.

I believe a member of the team is/was on maternity leave, so there's a bit of a backlog. They'll get it sorted when they get to it in the queue!

I'm sure I'm late to the party but can I just thank RTT colleagues for this fascinating and excellent feature on Gtr Anglia? No longer do I have to dive between several websites and pages to find out what's happening! Marvellous stuff.

Currently at Eusto, absolute chaos. All trains delayed bar one or two due to over running engineering. Loads of platform alterations. And RTT still showing incorrect platforms and that trains over 40 minutes later are on time and at platform. What is the reason? Are last minute changes not added to the usual computer feed that it uses? Or something else?

The open data feed just shows what the signaller has put in the signal berth.

Looks pretty accurate to me. All the trains currently shown as "at platform" match up with the headcodes shown in Traksy.
