Routing question - MIlton Keynes - Leamington

Is a Milton Keynes - Leamington Spa off peak return valid via both Coventry & Birmingham or only Coventry

Looks like Coventry only ( EN+SM ).

thanks - that is what i thought but a friend who should know says otherwise!

I doubt any guard would really take issue with it if you went via Birmingham (but don't shoot me if you happen to run into one), as it is quite a reasonable move.

Fare levels suggest to me they weren't priced via Birmingham, so there is an obvious hole in the market there.
