Depends what you'd like to know:

Mark 1 Post Office Stowage Van, converted at York in 1976 from Corridor Second 25119 (Built Wolverton, 1956). One of a batch of nine similar conversions undertaken at that time.

Into traffic July 1976, sold for preservation in November 2003 and moved, I think, to the Gloucestershire-Warwickshire Railway. Noted there in 2013 and 2015, and then seen on the back of a low loader, without it's B5 bogies, at a Wishaw haulage yard in September 2017, en route to the Vale of Berkeley Railway where I believe it still resides, additional similar vehicles having moved there last year.

One source has it listed as being at Berkeley Science Park and noted present in August 2023

This is the closest thing I can find to a coach on aerial photographs - but it may or may not be 80434

So was it a sorting vehicle (aka ‘Travelling Post Office’) as per the thread title or a stowage vehicle (for sealed mailbags)?

804xx definitely a stowage van (no sorting racks) type NTX (POT).
The ambiguity of the opening post, plus absence of a follow-up post from the OP, makes me think this thread is "ghosted".

== Doublepost prevention - post automatically merged: ==

IIRC, the public letter boxes were only to be found in the postal sorting vans and not in the stowage vans, which alternated with them in most Travelling Post Office formations.
You've got me sifting t'interweb now :D
Here are two POTs and a BPOT with posting box:

I obviously DRC* then!

(* Don't remember correctly!) :s
Double edged sword - it prompted me to dig out my copy of "An Illustrated Hustory of the Travelling Post Office" (by Peter Johnson) - and now I'm looking at my four Bachy TPO sorting vans and 4 packs of Hurst brass overlays and thinking: "time for some modelling".... ;)
