I'm also unsuccessful after the dmi stage and like you must've completely stuffed it up as was also given the two rejection emails.... What a kick in the teeth hahaha. Good luck to everyone who gets through though and let me know when the next intake of trainee drivers comes around

I haven’t heard anything either, annoying some people know either way, I assume they just have a lot to get through

Still nothing! Sorry to hear the bad news guys just need to try again as you all know many drivers got in second time around keep on trying

Surprise surprise, unsuccessful for the 3rd time in 12 months and 4th overall. I await the generic feedback and pretty much give up on trying again. I'm assuming they are clearing our the rejections first, so good luck to those waiting.

Can you re apply within the 6 month period , as long as you didn’t fail the tests ?

Think you need to wait 6 months but not 100 percent sure

Im internal, I just apply everytime. I think its 6 months from the date of the vacancy being listed rather than after the interview. Ive sat the tests twice as they ran out the first time. Thats how long I have been trying........

FAO Kilted Scot. Dont give up man. It is hard getting knock backs but I started 3 weeks ago at the 4th attempt so perseverance does pay off. Keep your chin up and try and look at where you may have went wrong and tweak it, that's all that it will need. If you want it badly enough and you put the work in it will come. Good luck

How often do they recruit for the trainee driver roles? I passed the first assessment but couldn’t make my dmi and they says they would use my application next time and would go straight to next stage as I had passed the first assessment

While I have had 4 interviews over the last few years my applications are well in to double figures so if we include those knock backs.. it really is frustrating. Spending your days off at other depots etc all for nothing is getting tiresome. Clearly there is something about me that they don't like. This is why staff are leaving for other TOCs.

I was external. If you have at least had interviews then you are doing something right. If it's for you it wont go past you. Good luck
