This isn't ment to sound ratty at all, but read this thread!Hi,
Come on here looking for some advice if possible, currently going through the long process for the trainee driver.
Currently awaiting date from DMI but was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to provide me with any advice or there experience during there DMI and MMI please.
Feel free to drop me an inbox i would really appreciate it.
Did sound a little "Ratty" to be honest with you, i am asking people for there personal experiences that is all if you dont want to share then i would say dont feel the need to comment. This isn't ment to sound ratty at all, but read this thread!
I say that because it gives you all the info you need. Which is that no two experiences are the same. It also tells you to prepare as best you can and just do what you can on the day
Nothing yet, constant refreshes of my emails though.Anyone from Dumfries heard yet?
Aye same hereNothing yet, constant refreshes of my emails though.
Join the club mate hahaNothing yet, constant refreshes of my emails though.
I think from what I've heard there won't be any fresh applications out this year due to the sheer number of folk who put in for it last year. For your sake I hope I'm wrong so you get your chance, but certainly from what I've heard there is not going to be any further applications until next year. Are they likely to put out applications for new trainees this year or have they still got plenty to draw from during the last campaign?
Can I ask are you Glasgow and did you just find out today? I'm waiting on MMI date. 2 days notice isn't ideal. Hope you can get it changed and good luck.Hi all.
How flexible are the recruiters in changing dates of Assessments? I just got told that I have my MMI this Thursday and given my current work, its unlikely ill make it.

That's goodAfter speaking to the recruitment administrator, I was able to change the MMI date.
I think most people don’t fully complete each test so wouldn’t worry about it. Easier said than done mind you , the waiting for results is a killer.Folks,
I had my first assessments on Monday past, felt it went ok, really relaxed atmosphere cannot fault anything about the process.
Felt the tests were well explained and we're ok, I personally felt the phone directory and tones to be the most difficult of all the tests.
Has anyone had a situation where they may have missed a matching symbol during this? Unsure if there is any room for error on this one.
Yeah it's more so I think I missed a symbol in between other ones that I had circled correctly.I think most people don’t fully complete each test so wouldn’t worry about it. Easier said than done mind you , the waiting for results is a killer.
