Now I know everyone's different...but roughly, how long before provisional start dates was everyone asked for their disclosure?

Had my medical a month ago, and heard nothing which I assume is good news. With it now 6 weeks until I theoretically need to hand in my week's notice I'm getting a tiny bit twitchy that I've not been asked to submit my disclosure yet

Matheus emailed me on 13/05 asking to apply for a disclosure and a copy of my passport sent over. I have my induction 24th/25th July with first day at atrium court the 28th July. Think if you haven’t already just start hounding them with emails until you get a response lol

Thanks for this!

Yeah I don't like to bombard, as I know they're under a lot of pressure. But I think I will message this time as the clock is ticking.

Well done for getting the job too! Not long now!

No harm in a polite email asking for some info, I have sent a few throughout the process haha!

Thanks, a few more weeks to go! Looking forward to it

Hi everyone

I passed the DMI about 6 weeks ago and they said they would be in touch. I was just wondering how long it maybe takes before I get invited to the stage 2 assessment and does this include the MMI at the same time? Should I be getting in touch with them for updates?

I have been practicing the tests, but not entirely sure what to expect on the MMI. Any heads up would be appreciated
I'm in the same boat as you, passed the DMI about 8 weeks ago and waiting to hear about the MMI as well. Also Glasgow

I was just over 7 weeks from dmi to second assessment day. I got an email on the Tuesday morning to go in on the Thursday morning so I’d be preparing as soon as you can for it as you might not get much notice. good luck.

Anyone not even had their 1st assessment yet?
Me, still waiting on the email. Been waiting over a year now. Pretty much gave up at this point

I've had a couple emails from them saying that I've not been forgotten about, but still waiting on the invite to the assessment centre.

Hi

I know this question has been covered before on a thread somewhere probably.

When you become a qualified train driver how does the shift pattern usually work as it’s something I have been wondering?

Is it weeks of early and then late and how does the days work out?

It's a rolling 3 week pattern. Week 1 days off Monday/Tuesday. Week 2 Wed/Thu Week 3 Fri/Sat/Sun then Mon/ Tue again. There will be booked Sundays in amongst it too but never at the long weekend. Generally early/lates week about with some nightshift depending on the depot. (Some small, rural depots have a different pattern but the bigger depots work like this)
