Sending a private message?

Am I being really stupid, or are we unable to send a private message to other users? I've looked all over the website, but I can't seem to find out how to do it.

I work another board that uses XenForo and getting people used to that change in terminology is an uphill struggle. Steep uphill!

What do you mean? The forum still has threads which have posts in them.

Good to see your problem is now solved. It is always worth contacting the website staff over such matters in the first place, rather than attempting other modes, as they are known for really being helpful in such situations.
