Waiting Gloucester?Exeter Central now has "W8IN GLOC". Not sure how to decipher that? W8IN obviously 'waiting'.

Or the signaller is a fan of either the Last of the Summer Wine or Only Fools & HorsesFood-related theme continues at Exeter Central. Platform 1 now reads "SIDS CAFE" in reference to St Sidwell's Cafe which is round the corner from the station.

Here you go:Taunton this morning. Any idea what the issue is?
Short for 'Disconnected' presumably.Sheildmuir mail terminal is showing "DISC" (for Discontinued?)

I'd be surprised if they've got round to doing that already, but quite possible I guess.Short for 'Disconnected' presumably.
NopeAny clue what is going on here![]()
'NotOPEn' perhaps to form 'NOPE' ('You can't go that way today')Any clue what is going on here![]()
Not everything has to be an acronym or abbreviation!'NotOPEn' perhaps to form 'NOPE' ('You can't go that way today')
Most likely DnDC means Down direction route on the Down Charfield line (towards Bristol, the down line to Westerleigh Junction is known as the Down Charfield line). Yes, the Dn is a bit redundant, but this format is typical for this area. As in other areas there may be reversible routes available. Here's one I haven't seen before.
Given it's just below a signal marked G70 and the box is marked G70 Route I'm guessing Dn is Down and DC is whichever route is DC and it's what the points are set for at Standish junction?

Most likely, item 141 in the Weekly Operating Notice (WON) detailing either a line block or other occupation of the line for engineering works. What’s “141” at Shirehampton and Redland?
Thank you; makes sense. Most likely DnDC means Down direction route on the Down Charfield line (towards Bristol, the down line to Westerleigh Junction is known as the Down Charfield line). This "berth" is indicating that the TD (Train Describer) has received an input from the signalling system telling it which route has been selected by the signaller for G70 signal. With no route set, the "berth" will be blank.
This facility is only shown for this signal because the data needs to be sent to the TD system for the adjacent signal box (TVSC controlling the Bristol area).
Elsewhere, no route data is shown.
