Hi Moderator,

I haven't seen the figures updated on the original website either. Are you sure about that?

I'm looking for the latest of average performance 52 weeks.

I haven't got the actual performance figures to hand but there are no renewal discounts due on the latest figures. There have been some void days in some service groups over the past year though.

Hi Moderator,

Yes, I am sure, although with the upgrade to the new website an ongoing process, it is possible there might have been intermittent issues.

Latest charter figures are Mainline 87.2% punctuality, 99.5% reliability for the last 52 weeks, Suburban 89.7% punctuality, 99.2% reliability for the last 52 weeks. Figures correct as of 30th April. Void days are available for Service Groups 2 (Portsmouth Direct), 5 (Windsor Inner), 6 (Windsor Outer and Reading) and 7 (Main Suburban) if you held an annual season. No renewal discount for either Mainline or Suburban.

Latest figures correct as of 28th May will be published tomorrow.

Thank you all for replies.

I have another question. I got payment for the following void days when I renewed my monthly season ticket a few days ago.

19/07/16, 14/07/16, 06/07/16, 05/05/16

One of the void days was in May. I am wondering why I didn't get payment for it in June or July when I renewed my monthly season ticket.

Is it totally up to a ticket seller whether telling a customer if there are any void days on his/her season ticket?

I am also wondering how long SWT keeps void days on their database?

Thanks,

The void days sound correct to me. Note that these are all half-days, not whole days.

If you had been renewing each month, I don't know why they didn't give you the discount for 5th May back when you renewed in June, or if you renewed before the figures were out in June, in July, but glad that they got it right this time and gave you your overdue discount. Sometimes mistakes are made. The ticket office clerk does not have discretion on the award of void days. These are contractual obligations on the TOC's side. They must be paid/discounted against renewals if declared.

The only other void day in the last 12 months for your journey is for half a day on 8th January.

Season ticket holders all have records in the company's database. Not sure how long they hold them for, but at least I would imagine for a couple of periods in the case of monthly holders, but it is possible that records are kept for a few years in case of audits and challenges from the customer.

Thanks bb21,

I am wondering where you got these void days records from. I know SWT put it on their website but it seems not to show the details.

They can be accessed internally on industry machines.

Hi Moderator,

I am wondering if you could kindly check for me if there is any void day from August through October on the season ticket Zone 2 - 6 to Guildford?

Thanks,

Yes. Unfortunately no more void day since July 19th on your route.

Latest figures will be out on Saturday I believe for the 28 days from 17th October.

Incidentally, Passenger's Charter figures used to be published on the ATOC website but moved over to the (public) NRE site a few months before the "merger" between ATOC and the Rail Delivery Group.

They can be found here: http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/times_fares/ticket_types/121354.aspx

Figures for Period 17/08 should be uploaded either today or tomorrow, given they're needed from Sunday/

Unfortunately, SWT's figures are rather opaque as their Charter Service Groups are numbered rather than named, and it's not immediately obvious what group some journeys fall into.

Service groups are, for the record:

1 - Weymouth mainline incl. Pompey via Eastleigh
2 - Portsmouth direct incl. Guildford
3 - Salisbury, Bristol and Exeter
4 - Alton
5 - Windsor and Weybridge incl. Hounslow loop and Kingston loop.
6 - Reading
7 - Main suburban incl. Dorking, Chessy, Hampton Court and stations to Woking.

This is only a brief guide and not an absolute. Service groups were defined for each flow when they were first brought in, and the direction of the flow can have an effect on which service group a flow falls into, with the origin of the ticket taking more priority over the destination.
