Why are there no Advance purchase tickets available for Southeastern Highspeed services?

I understand there are tickets to destinations further afield (e.g. Kent to Manchester), but not for medium, or Highspeed only journeys?

Not like there isn't spare capacity available to fill up empty seats, is there?

Southeastern don't allow any other TOCs nor 3rd party retailers to sell these advances. This has come up before and it seems a bit dodgy to me. They've been there for a while now and don't seem to be temporary fares...

It seems beyond dodgy to me. I wonder how they try to justify it? As I understand it other TOC's aren't permitted to behave in this fashion except on a short term basis.

At a quick look, it seems that trainline-based journey planners offer Southeastern Advances but that at least some WebTIS-based ones don't.

I suspect the trainline is simply ignoring the part of the ATOC datafeeds that says only Southeastern may sell these fares, but other websites are adhering to it.

Where are you looking to travel from? High speed tickets are suspended to some destinations because of the sea wall breach
