Pricing is one of the key decision-making issues within every train operating company. Therefore this is a role of real significance to our business and its future performance. Join us and your contribution will be crucial in ensuring we optimise our income through compliant fares. You will have the opportunity to devise and develop an agreed long term fares and product strategy which match the demands of new ticketing technologies. You will also develop options for Fare Setting Rounds (FSR) in TIS and then make recommendations based on revenue effects. Another key responsibility is the working with allocations systems to ensure correct returns. In addition, you’ll look at wider issues such as Smartcards and car park pricing.

The role may involve ensuring high premiums apply to the High Speed services ;)

The last time the job was advertised, the pay was a lot higher than that!

It isn't very much money. Perhaps they went for a better paid job elsewhere?
